1. Not Wearing the Right Safety Gear: Safety gear is essential when using a side-by-side buggy. You should always wear a helmet, goggles, and protective clothing when operating a Side by Side buggy. Always secure yourself and your passengers in the safety harnesses and seatbelts fitted to the machine. This will help protect you in the event of an accident.

2. Not maintaining the vehicle correctly: Proper maintenance is key to keeping your vehicle running smoothly and safely. Make sure to check all the fluids and replace any worn or damaged parts. It is also important to keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean. The most important part of the vehicle to keep clean is the Air Filter. We recommend cleaning out your air filter at least once a week (maybe more if your property is very dusty). A clogged air filter will allow dust into the motor and this will cause major damage and could cost you a new engine.

3. Running the vehicle at slow speeds in high range: The saying goes “When you are going slow stay in low”. Always remember to use low range when you are using your Side by Side at slow speeds, towing and going up hills. You should use your vehicle in high range when you are travelling at higher speeds. However, if you are puttering along checking on fences or animals, keep it in low range.
